Jorge Henriquez is a DC-based artist specializing in 2D works including paintings and illustrations. He is a Salvadoran-born, long-time resident of Washington, DC. Jorge’s been making art as long as he’s been able to hold a pen and is entirely self-taught. His experiences growing up in Salvadoran culture and as an immigrant in our nation’s capital influence his artistic style, which ranges from street art to landscapes.

Outside of the art world, you can find Jorge hand crafting gourmet coffee drinks across DC coffee houses, skate boarding at the Shaw skate park, at a show, or learning at Carlos Rosario International Public Charter School in Columbia Heights. He lives in NW DC with his wife, Cassie, and dog, Chula, and their infinitely expanding book and plant collections.
